The Crammy Bullet List for Late Sim Registrants

If you failed to make it on the last day of sim card registration on April 26, 2023, the good news for the rest of Filipino mobile users is that the schedule has been extended for a good 90 days.

Now if you want it assisted, here are some reminders before you go to accredited sim registration stations-- surely there is one in your location. Your best bet is to head for the malls where there are outlets of mobile companies accepting sim-reg assistance. Here is a stickler:

  • Do bring your government-issued IDs. And other supporting documents. These can spare you a lot of time as the process can be speeded up.
  • Make sure your phone has the sim card you are about to register. Staff would decline registrants who don't have their sim card/s with them.
  • Your mobile number has a phone credit or load. The service or telecom staff would also ask if you have a sim load prior to being assisted.
  • Before going out, charge your mobile phone or bring a handy charger. This will come in handy because the queue can be long, depending on location and time of visit.
  • Wear decent attire. The staff will take your photo and it's super closeup. Make sure you are comfortable with what you're wearing because the mobile company will store the data. If you are conscious about how you look, wear proper clothes for the photo-taking.

  • Priority is given to the elderly and housewives. So take advantage.
